“I nod, because despite the uncertainties, despite the changing seasons, the risk of new beginnings, I’m sure about him. About us. Because I know without a doubt that as long as I tell Julius Gong where I am, he’ll say, Stay there, I’ll come find you, and he will find me, in any crowd, any room, any city. He always has.” – 3.25/5 stars!
Attention! This book contains: new colleges, trips, drinks, bookshops, and new beginnings.

Academic rivals Sadie and Julius fell in love in I Hope This Doesn’t Find You when Sadie’s email drafts were accidentally sent out. Their story continues in I Hope This Finds You novella featuring Sadie’s and Julius’s POVs!

This was cute.
I was very happy with the possibility of revisiting two characters I loved reading in the past, Julius and Sadie. I absolutely loved the original book, so I knew I had to get my hands on this novella!
But I kept my expectations low, because knowing this is a shorter book, I knew we wouldn’t get any big developments or anything relevant to their story, but I kind of wanted… more? I liked reading about the characters again and how they were starting the next step of their lives together, but… it felt like the novella wasn’t enough.
Also, the ending felt a little too abrupt for my liking – it almost seemed that either the author didn’t know how to finish the novella, or she ran out of time. Again, I really like these characters… but it all felt a little pointless, if I’m being honest.
I hoped the author would write more about their new beginning together in college in a full-length book. I would totally read it! This novella was unnecessary.
